Mumbai: Lakshadeepotsava, First-ever Tulunadu Vedic Celebrations in Maha on Jun 4

Mumbai, May 31: Lakshadeepotsava religious celebrations will be held for the first time at Shanishwar Temple, managed by Shanishwar Seva Samiti, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, here on Saturday June 4, said Santosh D Shetty, executive president of Samiti.

Addressing the media persons at Hotel Tunga Hall, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, on Monday May 30, Santosh Shetty said that Nerul is renowned as a significant worship centre that conveys unity of people belonging to diverse culture and religions. 

Lakshadeepotsava, a Tulunadu tradition and cultural celebration will be held here for the first time in the entire Maharashtra state, added Santosh Shetty.

The Samiti president Ramesh M Poojary, vice president Gopal Y Shetty, honorary chief secretary V K Suvarna, joint treasurer Karunakar S Alva, members Jayakar B Poojary and N D Shenoy were present on the occasion.
