Bangalore Airport on Alert Following Bomb Threat

Bangalore, Jun 1 (Agencies): Bangalore Airport has been put on alert and all out going flights are being checked by bomb squads following an Intelligence Bureau tip-off.

An alert was sounded at both the domestic and international airports in Chennai following a bomb threat call received at the Bangalore airport early today.

Sources at the airport said that the CISF, which provides the security cover, has been alerted following the bomb threat call.
