Mangaluru: Dr MV Shetty Group of Institutions hold annual athletic meet

Mangaluru, Jan 16: The annual athletic meet of Dr MV Shetty Group of Institutions was held at Mangala Stadium on Monday January 16.

Senate member Rajiv Gandhi University of Gealth Sciences (RGUHS), Dr Sharan Shetty said, “In sports, you never loose, but you either win or learn. If you do not win a medal this year, try hard next year so that you can win the medal. Participation is always important.”

Student of Physiotherapy Rachi Rao administered the oath.

Leelavathi Shetty College of Education principal Dr Deepthi Nayak welcomed the gathering, Physical director Jayaprasad M rendered the vote of thanks and Rashmitha Veigas compered the inaugural event.

Student welfare officer Dr UT Ifthikar Ali, Dr MV Shetty Memorial Trust trustee Dr Divyanjali Shetty, director academics Dr Suma S Rai, College of Nursing principal Prof Christeena Saju Varkey, College of Physiotherapy principal Prof L Gladson Jose, Institute of Professional Science and Management principal Dr Prakasha Amin, College of Speech and Hearing principal Dr Sathish K, Institute of Allied Health Sciences principal Prof Shripriya H, Sarsa College of Arts and Sciences principal Jayalatha K and others were present.
