Udupi, Jan 16: Three new productions of Impact Foundation, Manipal by renowned writer and producer Vincent P D’sa were released on Sunday, January 15.

Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld media inaugurated a counselling certification course NLP and Empty Nest. Dayan D'Souza, renowned theatre artiste, released the academic - social Tulu drama "Koodisi Gunisu Pandaa Tension Daayeg Aapini." A documentary on study techniques and learning methods, "Momentum, The Science of Studies Part -1," was released by hotelier Dinesh Shetty Herga.

Speaking on the occasion Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld media said, "The first mistake we make as parents is to impose our wishes on our children. In such cases some pass but some fail. There are three aspects of psychology-criminal psychology, business psychology and chemical psychology. In the last one month, I have attended many programs in various schools and colleges. While interacting, I learnt that the number of student counsellors in colleges had a steep increase. This is because students don't share their feelings with their parents and teachers, the only person they look upto is counsellors. These productions help many people. I congratulate Vincent D'Sa for this."

Theatre artiste Dayan D'Souza said, "I am happy to release this drama. In this society, politicians, donors and artistes receive immense respect. We have neglected psychology as a subject. Common sense is relatable to psychology. If we teach psychology to children it will help them a lot. Once we understand the importance of psychology, we will get interest to learn it."

Speaking about the new productions, Vincent D’Sa said, “These productions help the children to learn in the right manner. Many children are committing suicide due to examination fear, the reason being that the children are not being taught in the right way. The current parents are graduates and can understand things, but they also rely on online sources. I am doing an attempt to fill the vacuum created between parents and the schools. Noticing my work, a renowned Marathi stage actor inspired me to write a drama on the particular subject and today I have written two academic and one social drama. The academic drama contains techniques of how to learn science. Anyone can understand this. NLP – neuro linguistic program is a technique to program our minds. “Koodisi Gunisu Panda Tension Daayeg Aapini” is a academic –social tulu drama. Today memory is wrongly defined as intelligence. There is a lot of difference between memory and intelligence. Many people are becoming victims of online fraud. We are working on another new project also which will be released within a year."
