Mangalore: ISPRL Blast - Two Arrested on Charges of Negligence

Mangalore, Jun 1: Two people were arrested in connection with last week's blast at ISPRL unit in Bajpe here on Wednesday June 1.

The arrested are Narayana of Muchoor, aged 26, and Pramod of Beltangady, aged 27. Both are supervisors at ISPRL.

They were arrested on charges of negligence in carrying out their duties. On the day of the blast, the activities at the site were scheduled to stop at 6 pm, but were carried on till 6.30 pm, the time of the incident.

The arrest was made by Panambur inspector Valentine D'Souza with his team. The accused were produced in court on Wednesday evening, and according to Bajpe police, released on bail later.
