Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (SS)

Mangaluru, Jan 20: Customs sleuths at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) have seized a total of 3,677 grams of smuggled gold worth Rs 2,01,69,800 between Jan 1 and 18 of this year and successfully foiled gold trafficking to a considerable extent.

Eight passengers travelling from Dubai and Abu Dhabi had tried to smuggle gold into the country through nefarious means. A passenger from Dubai had smuggled e-cigarettes with e-nicotine liquid in them worth Rs 3,20,265, which were hidden in his baggage.

Customs officials said investigations are underway and are at different stays in various cases that have been detected.

No prizes for guessing who. There is a common factor even if ladies are involved. Time for them to play the victim card and blame Adani . Wonder how people are affiliated to the political party they support?

I agree with your latter part of your comment. Trying to fight a common enemy , we all have landed in the quagmire ourselves. We are compelled to be blind , deaf and dumb for men and wemen smuggling 'inside' themselves, child molestation , minor rapes, abusing boys, being physical with domestic animals and terror support. The public looks at the bigger picture. Our leaders despite their decades of hard work are losing in their own backyard. Still not able to comprehend on the logic!
