Surathkal, Jan 23: The ICYM Surathkal unit organized a unique programme, 'Eureka 2023 - Discover yourself' for the youths above 16 years at the Sacred Heart Church conference hall.
Youths' self-assessment, self-enhancement and self-development were the programme's main objectives.
Fr Austin Peter Peres, in his presidential speech, told the youths about the notion of Archimedes and related it to the current situation by describing how the word "Eureka" was discovered.

Dr Sr Severine Menezes SAP conducted a therapy session with the youth that was based on actual events and guidem them how to respond to the circumstances. Also a session on self-improvement and personal growth was held.
Sr Carleen conducted a Jesus-centred leadership training session. She taught the young people how to overcome their phobias and navigate through society. More than 60 youths actively participated in the programme.
This programme inspired the youth to know themself better through various therapies. It helped the youth to discover their inner self, do self assessment and enhance life.
Oswin D'Souza welcomed the gathering. Melisha D'Souza proposed a vote of thanks. Rencita Monthero compered the programme.
