Chennai: I'm Not Happy with Karnataka - Advani

Chennai, June 5 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran L.K. Advani Sunday obliquely criticised Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa but commended the performance of other BJP or National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-ruled states.

"I am not happy with what is happening in Karnataka. I have told the party and him (Yeddyurappa)," Advani said when reporters queried him about the complaints of corruption against the BJP government in Karnataka.

He added: "As regards other states ruled by the BJP or NDA, people who have visited them have commented their performance was exemplary."

Advani did not elaborate. Yeddyurappa, who has completed three years in office, has been accused of corruption in the state. His is the first BJP government in south India.

    Irrespective of mr advani's personal aspirations and his leaning towards the achievement of them, he has matured as a senior politician. he has shown that even towards the end of their career, politicians can change for the good. be it in pakistan or speaking of karnataka.

    But God can change people for
    good. The father of "communal
    disharmony" can be totally transformed
    with a heart of contrite spirit and
    open confession to lead his followers to pursue a new route
    of tolerance and harmony with all.

    There is no doubt that the BJP is
    severely bombarded with a political
    tsunami even before the statement
    made by ADVANJI.

    "He is not happy" would generally mean CM could do much better as compared to the exemplary performance of BJP in other states. how happy our readers are with this report deriving their own conclusions and also this is a fine example of biased reporting.no need of dragging Mr.Nagesh here. you are the poeple who make people like him due to your biased thinking.

    I am happy for the frank opinion by Mr L.K.Advani on Karnatak Government. It is sensible. On this score BSY and speaker BOPANNA must vacate their chairs and help BJP to regain its reputation. The Party President must also act sensibly in Advising the leaders in karnataka.

    Tomorrows News Today. Mr.Advani from BJP joined Congress?. Yeddi promised many crores,but all crores going in his Bag. He is not even giving halftha to Centre Bjp bosses. Advani has not got his hafta. Boss is not happy. But Nagesh Mamu still happy.

    By all respect to Mr. Nagesh Nayak... Please come on.. We are all waiting for your comment. You says Karnataka is rapidly developing and your Old boss says he is unhappy over the development. So whom to believe you or Advani??.. Now it is openly certified by their party head that Karnataka is developing in corruption. So all the BJP pro commentators protest over the remarks of Advani

    It does not matter if Shri Advaniji is happy or not as long as Sri Sri Nagesh Najakji is happy, and he is surely very happy as far as Yeddy is concerned.
