Mangaluru: Valencia parishioners celebrate parish feast with devotion

Mangaluru, Jan 29: The annual parish feast of St Vincent Ferrer Church Valencia was celebrated in a devotional atmosphere on Sunday, January 29.

Prior to the solemn festal mass, Fr Roque D'Sa, the parish priest distributed ‘Candles of Honour’ to all the members of the parish pastoral council, gurkars and representatives of the wards, presidents of various parish associations, people those who have contributed towards the feast and also the sponsors. Ronald Rodrigues, vice president of the parish pastoral council read out the list of names.

 



 

The main celebrant for the eucharistic mass was Fr Ronald Serrao, rector of St Joseph's seminary Jeppu.

Parish priest Fr Roque D'Sa, assistant parish priest Fr Vijay Monterio, resident priest Fr Paul D'Souza, Fr William Barracas, Fr Joswin D'Souza, Fr Anil Roshan, Fr Anil Alfred, Fr Bonfice Pinto, Fr Arun Lobo, Fr Charles Menezes and Fr Harry Tauro were the co-celebrants.

Fr Ronnie extended the festival greetings to the priests and all the parishioners. Parish priest greeted the parishioners and thanked everyone for their contribution, participation and co-operation.
