Bengaluru, Jan 30: “Kaveesh, son of Vasu who was a Congress MLA  has joined the BJP on Monday, January 30. The thought of BJP has overtaken the house of Congress MLA. Tomorrow Siddaramiah’s son and family of D K Shivakumar will also join the BJP. Throughout the country BJP is going to make progress,” said state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel.

Speaking further at the state BJP office, Nalin said, “Bus of the Congress has begun its journey. Its brakes will fail as it moves forward. Pancharatna yathra of the JD (S) will also get punctured."

Nalin welcomed Congress and JD (S) leaders of Old Mysuru area, including Kavish Gowda, son of former Congress MLA Vasu, into the BJP state office and said, “BJP will win more than 150 seats in the coming assembly elections and attain power on its own. BJP does not do dynasty or family politics. That is why a tea seller becomes the PM of the country. Those who pasted the posters of the party in villages has become the national president of the party. Those who are sick of family and dynasty ideology have joined a party which has ideology of the nation.”

Speaking on the occasion Minister K Gopaliah said, “I resigned my MLA post on my own will and joined the BJP. In 2013, as BJP was divided, Congress came to power. Otherwise they would not have had any opportunity. BJP is the biggest political party in the world and it has got abright future."

“Congress, JD (S) leaders of Mysuru, Hassan and Bengaluru have joined the BJP. We will face the next assembly elections under the leadership of B S Yediyurappa, Bommai and state president and emerge victorious,” he said.

Ridiculing Congress, Nalin Kumar Kateel said, “PM Modi gave vaccines to health workers during the coronavirus pandemic. If Congress was in power, first doses would have been given to Sonia Gandhi, second to Rahul Gandhi and the third one to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. If some vaccine remained, Kharge would have got vaccinated.”
