Kasargod: Two involved in transporting narcotic drugs arrested

Kasargod, Feb 4: Manjeshwar police arrested two persons involved in transporting narcotic drugs.

The accused arrested are Mohammed Nouphal (33), a Mangaluru resident and K B Faizal (26) of Talapadi Neralappadi. The two were transport agents of MDMA drugs, police sources said.

A few days back, the Manjeshwar police had arrested three persons along with the MDMA drugs. The latest two arrested persons were dispatching the banned drugs to the other three members who have already been arrested by the police.

Police arrested the two persons based on the information they got from the earlier three persons who were arrested.

On police interrogation, Nouphal and Faizal disclosed that they had sent Rs 1 lac worth of the drug.

The police arrested Nouphal and Faizal after their location of the mobile numbers were tracked.

Police said the arrested accused were transporting drugs to places like Uppala, Kasargod and Manjeshwar.

    India is governed by constitution, not some 7th century desert laws. Mundra case drugs came from Afghanistan and 2 people from Hyderabad were already arrested long back. So, if someone held with drugs in Indira gandhi airport , Delhi does Indira gandhi is responsible for it? enchina pottu logic mare eerna.

    Arabian law? What better results will your Arabian law bring? The land where drugs smuggled from Iran and Afghanistan flourish unabated, citizens are left scot-free and expatriates are unfairly punished.
