Mumbai, Jun 8 (PTI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) said that Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will take up the issue of setting up of Chaityabhoomi Development Authority (CDA) with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh soon.
At a press conference, MPCC president Manikrao Thakre said Chavan will meet the Prime Minister soon to resolve the hurdles in setting up of the Authority that will look after the beautification and expansion of the B R Ambedkar's memorial.
He said the assurance of Chief Minister had nothing to do with the Sena-BJP-RPI rally on June 9 and NCP's June 10 meeting focusing on social justice, where the demand for renaming Dadar station as Chaityabhoomi is likely to be made.
