Beed, Jun 11 (PTI) Two female foetuses were recovered from a field in Parli Vaijnath tehsil of the district in as many days, police said today.
They were found in two separate carry bags in a field in Sangam village, they said.
Local villagers, however, claimed they had spotted nine foetuses in the area in the last two days. They said such instances had become regular.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons in this regard.
