Mangaluru: Annual feast celebrated at Saint Teresa Church, Paldane

Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 19: Holy mass was offered at Saint Teresa Church, Paldane, Mangaluru, on Sunday February 19 as part of the annual church feast.

All the devotees attended the mass, which was led by Fr Alwyn Richard D'Souza, assistant director of St Joseph Engineering College.

In his sermon, Fr Alban asked all the devotees of the church to cultivate forgiveness. He said that the quality of forgiveness, which was preached by Jesus Christ, should be practised by all. Observing the annual church feast enables the church's devotees to share love and solidarity, he said.

Fr Alban D’souza, chief parish priest of the church, expressed gratitude. The resident priest, Fr Sylvester Miranda, assisted in the mass. The church choir sang melodious songs under the leadership of its president, Lizzy Fernandes. The church vice president Roshan Lasrado and secretary Austin Monteiro were present. Later, all the church members participated in preparing food for the cultural programme and community dinner in the evening.
