Udupi: Blind elderly person rescued – Appeal to trace guardians

Udupi, Feb 20: An elderly blind man, who was in distress on the middle of national highway under the city limits was rescued by social worker Vishu Shetty with the help of local public and admitted to Hosabelaku orphanage on Sunday February 19.

The rescued person is identified as Venkatesh Pai (65), local resident. Any relative or guardian can contact Hosa Belaku orphanage.

Rakesh, Udaya Sanil, Jakeer and social worker Udyavar Ramdas Palan cooperated in the rescue operation.
