Dubai, Mar 7: On behalf KNRI UAE ,Karnataka Non- residents Indian forum, all community leaders and groups were gathered in fortune atrium auditorium Dubai, UAE on March 5 under the leadership of Praveen Kumar Shetty, president KNRI UAE.
Praveen Kumar Shetty said that all the community leaders and event organizers belonging to Karnataka need better coordination and co-operation between them and ensure that all the major events date not should collide with other programs as it will divide the Kannada lovers and spectators which will end up with low foot falls for events.
Further discussed that some organizers conducting programs without preparation and proper arrangement for high profile programmes, with few audience will hamper the credibility of all Kannadigas in the UAE.
Sarvotham Shetty, president of AbuDhabi Karnataka Sangha, Suvarna Rajyotsava award winner added whenever he is invited to represent from UAE and Gulf with other countries, always mentioned key contributors name who worked to uplift Kannada in the gulf region.
Shashidhar Nagarajappa, president of Karnataka Sangha Dubai, appreciated the support of Kannadiga people for successful continuity of Kannada PataShaale from past 9 years providing free Kannada teaching for more than 650 students for the year 2023.
Meeting was attended by Harish Sherigar, Dr Mohammad Kapu , Prabhakara Ambalatere Latif Mulky, Balakrishna Salian, Harish Bangera, Satish Poojari, Ganesh Rai, DayaKirodian, Shodan Prasad, Siddalingesh BR and a total over 45 community leaders and representatives from different Kannada groups expressed their views and comments for better coordination and extended full support and co-operation in all upcoming Kannada programs & events.
Further all leaders highly condemned the recent incident, where one of the Kannada community member Sadan Das of unethical attention seeking and misleading statements will negatively hamper all the Kannada activities of this region. A unanimous caution was issued to Das to refrain from such acts for the sake of community harmony.
Praveen Shetty expressed and extended his sincere thanks to all the invitees, and informed that he is awaiting for election to update about fully fledged activities of KNRI to serve the people of Karnataka.
