Kundapur: Nagaraj Rayappanamata elected as president of working journalists’ association

Kundapur, Mar 14: Nagaraj Rayappanamata was electd as the new president of Kundapur taluk working journalists’ association affiliated to Karnataka working journalists’ association of Udupi district.

Ganesh Beejadi was elected as the secretary. In the annual general body meeting of the association that was held at Ambedkar Bhavan on Tuesday the elections were held.

Ganesh Beejadi was elected as secretary unanimously. The other office bearers are Chandrama Mallur and Raghavendra Pai as vice presidents, Yogish Kumbashi and Raghavendra Balkoor as joint secretaries, Lokesh Acharya as treasurer, Udaya Kumar, Shashidhar Hemmady, Manjunatha Shenoy Jannadi, Sathish Acharya Ulluru, Vinay Pais, Ramakrishna Herale, Srikantha Hemmady and Santhosh KUndeshwara were elected as members of executive committee.

Rajesh Shetty Alevoor, district president of Udupi district working journalists association conducted the election process. Outgoing president Shashidhar Hemmady extended good wishes to the new president Nagaraja Rayappanamata and handed over the charge.

Secretary Nazeer Polya, treasurer Umesh Marpalli and secretary of silver jubilee committee of the district association Jayakar Suvarna were present.
