Mangaluru, Mar 18: Hindu activists threatened to hold mass protests in the company of thousands of others on March 26 against alleged encroachment of ten acres of land by Muslims at Someshwara, Uchil. They said that the land was being used for generations for agriculture and fisheries by the family of soldiers attached to Ullal Rani Abbakka. Akhila Bharatha Hindu Mahasabha state chief secretary R Girish said that the land will be surrounded by the activists and a permanent Bhagawadwaja will be hoisted on the spot if they do not get justice.
He was speaking in the press conference at Ullal press club. “U T Khader and his family who are enjoying power in Ullal for the last 40 years and whose contribution to development is nil is indulging in land jihad to increase the population of Muslims. Ullal will be a mini Pakistan in next 10-15 years. Hindus will have to migrate. Muslims will put forth the demand for four lands to the mosques for programmes. The government will give it to them on lease subject to restrictions. The Muslims have erected a fence on ten acres of land at night after threatening Hindus,” he said.
Akhila Bharatha Mahasabha district president Pramod Uchil said that the deputy commissioner should provide justice to the Hindus before March 23. Otherwise the land will be taken back by raising the Bhagawadhwaja. Akhila Bharatha Mahasabha will be constructing about 500 houses for poor displaced Hindus in the area in the future,” he said.
He assured complete support in the elections to any stern candidate who prevents atrocities and provides justice to Hindus. District youth president Dhanaraj, student union president Sushanth Bhakthakodi, Shivaprasad, Dinesh Talapady and others were present.
