Mumbai, Jun 22 : Senior BJP leader from Maharastra, Gopinath Munde is all set to join Congress within the next couple of days.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had sidelined Munde's candidate for Pune BJP chief's post. Therefore Munde revolted againt the BJP top brass for the humiliation.

Sources say that there is a possibility that he might join the Shivsene as the ideologies of the BJP and Shivasena are more or less the same.

Former Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh reportedly had convinced Munde since the BJP top brass' meeting with the latter at New Delhi had  failed once again on Tuesday June 21.

Dissatisfied by the offer given by Gadkari and company, Munde is now certain to join Congress.

The Congress High command hasn reportedly offered him a package. Munde, being satisfied with the offer, has been discussing with his supporters and seeking advice from them prior to the announcement of his decision.

Munde is a well respected BJP leader who had been raised to the top with sheer determination and organisational skills right from the beginning when he joined the Jana Sangh.
