Chidambaram Forced for Chopper Change

Srinagar, Jun 22: Union home minister P Chidambaram on his way to Gurez from Pahalgam in Kashmir on Wednesday June 22 was forced for a helicopter-change as there was deviation in the flight parameter of the chopper he was travelling earlier.

A senior official confirmed the same and informed that the chopper had to be changed at Srinagar. However, it was not a forced landing, but precautionary measure as the pilots did not want to take any risk with the minister on board, he elaborated.

Chidambaram is on a visit to the state.
