Kundapur, Mar 30: SI Prasad Kumar K P and personnel intercepted a bike while checking vehicles at Sangam check post of Kasaba village at around 5.30 am on March 29 and found a cloth bag containing Rs 13 lac.
On inquiry of the source of the cash, the bike rider Dilip Godse did not provide any document. The bag contained 2600 currency notes of Rs 500 face value.
Bike and the cash were confiscated by the police and a case under 98 KP act is registered against the accused.
