Margao: Goans to Get Medical Insurance Scheme Soon

Margao, Jun 27: Health minister Vishwajeet Rane has assured people of Goa that government will introduce Medical Insurance Scheme.

According to him under this insured person can avail the benefit of Rs. 60,000 in the emergency period.

Government is making all out efforts to benefit the public by providing adequate medical facilities; he said further.

Rane who is also agriculture minister was speaking after distributing Agriculture related machinery to
the farmers  in Sattari taluka. The machinery such as Power tiller, Coconut Climber, Weed cutter, Pump , etc. and Fertilizer and Pesticide were distributed to the farmers.

Agriculture Department is working towards mechanized farming and efforts are being taken up to
promote mechanized farming in the state, he said.

Director of Agriculture Satish Tendulkar in his welcome address appealed the farmers to make best use of the Agriculture Machinery and told the farmers to avail the benefit of various schemes implemented
by the Agriculture Department.
