Mangaluru, Mar 31: “People should come forward to exercise their franchise in the upcoming legislative assembly elections,” said Abhishek, returning officer (RO) of Mangaluru North constituency.

He was addressing a press meet here on Friday March 31.

He said, “There are 242186 voters in the constituency, 244 polling stations, 244 BLOs, and 99 polling locations. As many as 291 VIP voters are present in the constituency. Model Code of Conduct is in place.”

He added that the fly squad, video monitoring, and vigilance team have also been formed.
