Former MLA Mallikarjuna Khooba rejoins JD(S)

Bengaluru, Mar 31: Former MLA Mallikarjuna Khooba rejoined JD(S) by meeting party leader H D Kumaraswamy at his residence in Bengaluru on Friday.

“I decided to go back to JD(S) at Kumaraswamy’s residence because today is an opportune moment,’’ Khooba told the media.

Khooba has represented the Basavakalyan constituency for two terms.

Kumaraswamy described Khooba’s decision to rejoin the party as a good development as he was in the party. There will be an official function at the party office with State President C M Ibrahim, Bandeppa Kashempur and other leaders, he said.
