Mangaluru, Apr 1: City buses parking is prohibited at the State Bank bus stop of the city from April 1. All buses will move from the service bus stand which is nearby.
Dinesh Kumar, DCP, crime and traffic said that parking and movement of buses is prohibited from Hamilton Circle to Rao and Rao Circle. Similarly, no private vehicles are allowed on the road opposite the SP office that goes through the service bus stand to Lady Goschen hospital.
The development work of the service bus stand was done recently. Now the traffic police have allowed both city and service buses to operate from the same bus stand to allow smooth flow of traffic in the heart of the city.
