Bengaluru, Apr 13: In perhaps the first nomination paper to be filed for the May 10 assembly polls, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar filed his papers from the ruling BJP with the returning officer at Chikkaballapur taluk office on Thursday.
Earlier in the morning, he visited the Channakeshava Swamy temple at Chikkapailagurki with his family members.
Dr Sudhakar submitted his nomination papers in the afternoon.
The minister had won on the Congress ticket in the 2018 assembly polls and subsequently resigned to join BJP. He later won in a by-election in 2019.
