Byndoor, Apr 14: Gururaj Gantihole, the BJP candidate for Byndoor Vidhan Sabha, has stated that the BJP is a party of ordinary activists. Speaking at the first meeting of BJP activists after receiving the BJP seat, Gantihole said, "I am an ordinary activist. An opportunity for me means an opportunity for every activist. Therefore, the BJP is a party of ordinary activists."

Gantihole further added, "My victory will be a BJP victory. I have been given an opportunity now, and somebody else may get an opportunity next time. I will work towards the all-round growth of Byndoor during my term."

Addressing concerns about the delay in selecting a candidate, Gantihole emphasized that it is not right to say that the selection of the candidate is delayed because the candidate is not important in the party. "The activists win the elections and not the leaders," he said.

The meeting was attended by various party leaders, including Industries Chamber District President B S Suresh Shetty, Byndoor Mandala President Deepak Kumar Shetty, Secretary Priyadarshini Bijoor, District Chief Secretary Sadananda Uppinakudru, Yuva Morcha Leader Sharath Shetty Uppunda, Entrepreneur Ashik Kumar Shetty, In-Charge B Kishore Kumar, and others.
