Now, Angara makes U-turn on political 'sanyasa', to campaign for BJP candidate in Sullia

Sullia, Apr 14:  A few days after BJP MLA S Angara announced his retirement from politics after he was denied a party ticket to fight the elections, he made a u-turn on Friday, April 14 and announced that he will campaign in favour of Sullia BJP candidate Bhagirathi Murulya.

Addressing a press meet at Sullia press club, Angara said he will indeed be campaigning in favour of Bhagirathi Murulya in the upcoming elections.

"I was in pain after I was denied the ticket. So, I had announced my retirement from politics. I have changed my mind and decision. I had never asked the party to provide for opportunities in these many years. The party has given me a ticket to contest several times from the Sullia constituency. I have not indulged in any corruption or any discrimination in my political career," he added.
