Bantwal: 491 officials given first phase of election training

Bantwal, Apr 16: The first phase of election training was held for a total of 491 officials, including 187 presiding officers and 304 assistant presiding officers from 205 Bantwal Vidhan Sabha constituencies at Infant Jesus English Medium School in Modankapi.

They were trained on the duties of the polling process on election day, with 22 sector officers receiving training. Master Trainers Abdul Razak, Udaya Kumar, and Sanat Ram provided guidance during the training.

Deputy collector Krishnamurthy, district level training nodal officer, technical assistant to collector, and ex-officio director of Land Records Niranjan visited and conducted inspections. Returning officer Abid Gadyal, assistant returning officer S B Koodalagi, grade 2 tahsildar Dayananda K S, assistant director of Land Records Madhu M, deputy tahsildar Naveen Kumar Benzanapadu, sub tahsildar Narendranath Mittur, Rajesh Naik N M, Vijaya Vikram, revenue department, and Survey Department staff busy assigned election duty were present. Meals and refreshments were provided to all officers and staff.

The training program was successful, with the trained officers being tested and their level of training being checked. The polling officers expressed their satisfaction with the training and their confidence in conducting the voting.
