Mangaluru: Case filed against hotel for selling liquor beyond prescribed hours

Mangaluru, Apr 17: A case is filed against a hotel situated at Don Bosco Hall road on the accusation of selling liquor beyond the scheduled hours.

Police officials checked the CCTV footage of the said hotel, as they received umpteen complaints by the public of selling liquor during late night hours, and found that the licence holder has blatantly violated the rules under CL-7 of the licence.

A complaint is filed with the excise inspector of the south zone of the city to take necessary action against the owner of the hotel.

    This is common in manipal bars are open after prescribed hours it closes only after police officials visit them and tell them to close down.
