Karkala: BJP's Sunil Kumar files nomination after rallying for 5 km

Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (JD)

Karkala, Apr 19: Sunil Kumar, the BJP candidate for the Karkala constituency, has filed his nomination. A massive rally was organized, with over 15,000 party workers participating, from Swaraj Maidan to Kukkundoor Panchayat grounds prior to the filing of nominations. Accompanying Kumar were BJP leader Captain Ganesh Karnik, Kaup BJP candidate Gurme Suresh Shetty, Pramodh Madhwaraj, RSS leader Bola Prabhakar Kamath, and others.

After the rally, a large public meeting was held in Kukkundoor gram panchayat grounds.

In his address to the gathering, Sunil Kumar said, "The people of Karkala have supported Hindutva and development. The BJP will come to power again with a decisive majority. There is no need to teach me the lessons of Hindutva. Hindutva is our commitment, and we have governed through it. We will also bring to light details about the Congress candidate and how he has taken advantage of various MLAs in the state. Elections in coastal districts have never been about caste politics. We will fight this election on the ideology of Hindutva. There was no security for the people during Congress rule. If the Congress comes to power, it will abolish the anti-cow slaughter and anti-conversion bills."
