Mangaluru: Former PM H D Deve Gowda to campaign for Mohiudeen Bava on May 1

Mangaluru, Apr 30: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda will visit the Mangaluru North constituency to campaign for Janata Dal (S) candidate Mohiudeen Bhava, according to MLC and JD(S) leader B M Farooq.

At a press meet, Farooq said that the forthcoming elections will be a tough fight between JD(S) and BJP. The people in the constituency are in favour of Mohiudeen Bhava, who has done a lot of developmental work as an MLA, and even while not being an MLA, he responded to the problems of the general public.

Farooq added that JD(S) has fielded candidates in seven constituencies of Dakshina Kannada, and the people in the constituency are willing to bring Mohiudeen Bhava to power. He also mentioned that Moideen Bhava worked tirelessly during the pandemic, and people have concerns about him, and the people in the state will give a clear mandate to the JD(S).

May 1 being Labour Day, the former prime minister will felicitate labourers during a convention in Kaikamba.

JD(S) leaders Mohammed Kunhi, M B Sadashiva, Akshith Suvarna, Vasanth Poojary, and others were present.
