Mangaluru: 14-year-old boy goes missing, feared drowned at Panambur Beach

Mangaluru, Oct 5: A 14-year-old boy went missing and is feared drowned in the sea while playing with his friends at Panambur Beach on Sunday evening.

The missing boy has been identified as Shreyas (14), son of Sesappa, a resident of Renkeda Guttu in Kasaba village of Beltangady taluk.

According to reports, Shreyas had visited the beach along with five of his friends. While the group was playing in the water, Shreyas was struck by a massive wave and swept away into the sea.

Upon receiving information about the incident from the boy's friends, Shreyas's father filed a complaint at the Panambur police station.

The police have registered a case and launched a search operation to trace the missing teenager.
