Mangaluru, May 5: Acting on a tip-off, Ullal police conducted a raid on a gambling den located near Talapady, at Tacchani, and arrested 10 accused involved in illegal gambling activities.
The accused are identified as Ashwath from Manjeshwar, Akbar from Sunkadakatte, Abbas Madoor from Beeri, Ameen, Shamsheer from Maripalla, Ashwith from Adyar, Ismael, and Harish from Bajal.
Police also seized eight motorcycles, an auto-rickshaw, and Rs 14,500 in cash from the premises.
A case has been registered at the Ullal police station in connection with the raid.
