Gadkari to speak on Pakistan terror in London


London, July 10 (IANS) Terrorism emanating from Pakistan will be the focus of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari when he addresses a London convention Saturday.

The convention has been organised by Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP), which claims to work towards projecting a positive and correct image of India and its people abroad.

At the July 16 convention, Gadkari will "focus on the fast deteriorating security scenario in South Asia with special emphasis on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism against India", according to an OFBJP statement.

This is the first convention of the OFBJP.

Gadkari will also meet business leaders, including members of Indo-European Business Forum, at a luncheon by London Chamber of Commerce where he will talk about the India-British economic cooperation in various fields.

Gadkari will invite India-British collaborations in India's BJP-ruled states in sectors of mutual interest at another meeting with Indian and British industrialists.

During his six-day visit to London, Gadkari is scheduled to address a gathering of the Telangana Development Forum, UK, besides visiting the Southall Gurudwara and Swaminarayan Temple in Neasden.
