Mangaluru, May 15: On the occasion of celebration of 111th Founder's Day of MCC Bank Ltd, honoured the living legend of Konkani Stage, Comedy King, Francis Fernandes on May 11 at Bank's head office.
Chairman, Anil Lobo welcomed. Director, Marcel DSouza briefly explained his achievements as a Konkani writer, actor and director.
He was honoured with shawl, memento and flower bouquet.
Francis Fernandes thanked MCC Bank for recognising his achievements and honouring him. Director, Irene Rebello, praised his contribution to Konkani language and culture. General manager, BOM chairman Anil Patrao and staff of MCC Bank were present.
