Panaji: Brit National Arrested with Charas Worth Rs 55,000

Panaji, Jul 12: A British National Allan Baimbridge (45) was arrested by the Anjuna police on Monday July 11 for possession of charas worth Rs 55,000.

Baimbridge was a resident of Kumarwado in Anjuna.

Anjuna PSI Praveen Gawas said that the police were informed that Baimbridge would arrive at the village panchayat to deliver drugs to a few prospective customers.

The offense has been registered under section 20b (ii)(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Substances Act (NDPS).
