Mangaluru, May 16: Mother's Day is a cherished occasion dedicated to honoring and celebrating the remarkable influence of mothers in people's lives. It is a day when they express their deep gratitude and affection for the selfless love, care, and sacrifices that mothers shower upon us.

As a celebration of this unconditional love, warmth, and resilience, a stellar event by Moms Of Mangalore, "BON Masala Super Mom" Season 5, sponsored by ELC, CFAL, and powered by Zari Couture, was held this Mother's Day at Fiza by Nexus Mall, Mangaluru. Like-minded people came together to host a colorful evening to commemorate the special person in everyone's life.

The contestants, who were groomed by Mercy Beauty Academy and Ladies Salon, walked the ramp with their kids, exhibiting their talents and skills in the subsequent rounds and answering a series of questions from the judges that exuded their confidence and elegance.

The contest, which started online, culminated with the big finale, where Dr Pratheeksha Shetty was crowned Super Mommy 2023 and walked away with a fabulous prize. Chhaya K was crowned the first runner-up, and Neekita Fernandes emerged as the second runner-up. This was a significant recognition for the winners and a testament to the group's commitment to celebrating and empowering women.

A clearly enthusiastic crowd participated in various activities. The Mother's Day celebrations included special events where enthusiastic ladies and kids participated in face painting, nail art, and mehendi by renowned artists. The audience at the mall watched the special performances put up by Upasana Dance and lauded the performances.

Community Managers of Moms of Mangalore, Prithvi Ganesh Kamath, Namratha D'Silva, Dr Shilpa Shreyas, and Melba Uchil, were present at the event.

Prominent personalities Sudheeksha Kiran Suvarna, Tanuja Maben, and Maina Shet were part of the judges' panel.

While a plethora of like-minded people came together, the main stars of the event and the group were the mothers of MOM, whose support and participation defined the success of the event. As MOM intends to get involved in more social responsibilities in the region while supporting each other through various services it renders through its online page, mothers are encouraged to join this group and make use of the opportunities and also make a small effort to make a difference in the lives of other mothers.
