Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, May 18: Cobra two-wheelers, that help traffic police in handling emergency traffic situations, were handed over to east and west traffic police stations of the city.

Cobra two wheelers are of great help to traffic police to reach accident spots and clear the traffic.

The two-wheelers were handed over by city police commissioner Kuldip Kumar R Jain. DCP traffic and crime Dinesh Kumar and ACP Geeta Kulkarni were present.

Cobra two wheelers have a siren and mike installed on the vehicle. This helps in correcting parking, taking immediate action against vehicles violating traffic rules and making it easier for pedestrians to walk on footpaths.

Cobra vehicles also help in making way for green corridors during VIP and ambulance vehicle movement. In addition, these are very helpful in congested circles and signal areas.
