Mangaluru, May 18: Most of the people who buy lottery tickets wait eagerly for the result to be announced and check the same on either the website or on the newspaper. However, in a strange case that is reported from Talapady bordering Karnataka on the outskirts of Mangaluru, a person, who has won bumper lottery of Rs 70 lac has still not contacted the agency.

The lottery agency staff are waiting for the lucky winner to report to them as they also need to get their commission from the government.

The ticket was sold by Jayamma lottery agency, owned by Amal Kanakadasa. This ticket was of Akshaya lottery draw. The ticket was sold on May 7 and the number of the ticket is AT 317545. Now the search is on for the lucky winner.

The same agency got Rs 75 lac bumper prize few months ago. The lucky winner was resident of K C Road. On one more occasion, a security guard who lived in rented house at Olavinahalli got Rs one crore from the same agency. In total, Jayamma lottery agency has got four bumper prizes so far.

Owner Amal Kanakdas says that the winner must be from the Karnataka-Kerala border area.

Is it worth to invest in lottery...with few people are winners other's lost there earned income of lifetime and there properties. Even Matka operating in coastal districts is good for people owned by Leo of Adarsha Bakery whose father itself once Head Master of Nittur School. Daily wage earners play daily in hope will get some extra money. Why govt keeping quiet on gambling as given hefty bribe to all.
