Beltangady: 37-year-old succumbs to injuries suffered in motorcycle-car collision

Beltangady, May 25: A motorcycle-borne KSRTC bus driver, who was returning home after finishing his duty and got severely injured as a car hit his two-wheeler, succumbed to injuries on May 24.

The deceased is identified as Ashok Kumar (37), a resident of Golithottu and driver of KSRTC bus of Dharmasthala depot.

On May 18, after finishing his duty, Ashok was going back to his house on his motorcycle when a car collided with his vehicle at Kudal near Kokkada. Ashok received grievous head injuries and was admitted to private hospital in Mangaluru.

Ashok who was in ICU, succumbed to his injuries on May 24. He is survived by parents, wife and two daughters.
