Indonesia condemns Mumbai blasts


Jakarta, July 14 (IANS) Indonesia Thursday strongly condemned the deadly bomb blasts in Mumbai that killed 17 people Wednesday evening.

"We condemn the attacks that took place in the city of Mumbai," Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

Three blasts in India's financial hub at Dadar, Zaveri Bazaar and Opera House areas killed at least 17 people, while 131 were injured, Indian officials said.

"The Indonesian government expresses deep sympathy and condolences to the government of India over the loss of lives and those injured," Natalegawa said.
