Mangaluru: Two arrested, over 10 kg ganja worth Rs 3 lac seized

Mangaluru, May 31: Kavoor police arrested two people and seized 10.125 kg of ganja from two youths on the banks of Phalguni river near Adyapadi in Moodushedde.

Acting on definite tip off, ACP Manoj Kumar and PI Gururaj and personnel raided Phalguni river bank area on May 30 and arrested Sahil (19), a native of Andhra Pradesh and P Mansoor (21) from Someshwara in Mangaluru.

The weight of the seized ganja is 10.125 kg worth Rs three lac in the market. A case in this regard is registered in Kavoor police station.

The operation was led by ACP Manoj Kumar. The team included Kavoor police inspector Gururaj, PSI Raghu Nayak and other personnel.

    it is really a pity that hatta katta beefy boys are doing this kind of illegal job due to marginalization of society..it is just a matter of another year or so...once the gujju duo are out in center...employments will increase and these very boys will serve in Wagha border for sure...
