Puttur, Jun 1: The male head of a household hanged himself and ended his life barely two days after performing his house-warming ceremony on Monday, May 29, at Bheervahitlu of Chikkamutnur village.
The deceased is identified as Vijaya Kumar who ended his life in the shed of his house at the backyard. He tied his lungi to an iron rod and hanged himself to death.
On May 27, he performed the house-warming ceremony. On May 28, he had created a ruckus and quarrelled with his wife over some petty matter, it is learnt. Puttur police have registered a case.
