Mangaluru, June 8: Vani Alva has been appointed as the commissioner in charge of Ullal municipal council. She took over charge today. She was serving as the Mangaluru Corporation zonal commissioner.

Vidya M Kale who was the commissioner at the municipal council has been transferred to SBM cell at the council administration directorate.

Vani Alva had served as the council commissioner for four years in 2016. She was later the chief executive of Someshwara municipal council for three years.
