Mangaluru, Jun 11: Health minister and district in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao emphasized the need for effective implementation of all government programs and schemes by officials. He stressed the importance of ensuring that development programs reach the beneficiaries in a timely manner, regardless of their caste or religion.

Rao called upon the district administration, zilla panchayat, and other local bodies to prioritize development initiatives. He urged the police officials to take strong action against individuals who disturb law and order in the district, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and harmony without any violence. Rao also emphasized the need for sincere work from the district administration and officials, highlighting the challenges of controlling individuals who have been provoked by hate speeches.
Rao pointed out that communal violence hampers development and discourages investors from coming to the district, which in turn affects employment opportunities.
Expressing his happiness at being appointed as the district in-charge minister of Dakshina Kannada, Rao stated, "Although I am not from here, I understand the sentiments of the people of Dakshina Kannada as I have worked in the Youth Congress."
He further emphasized that the district administration should make necessary preparations ahead of the rainy season.
Rao also announced that the Karnataka government would review the allocation of "hundreds of acres" of land to RSS and its affiliated organizations.
