Udupi, June 14: “Even though BJP lost Vidhana Sabha elections it won all the five seats in Udupi. Therefore, the work of the party workers is worth applauding. Let us unite and make Modi the prime minister again,” said union minister Shobha Karandlaje.
She was speaking in a meeting of district BJP workers presided over by the party district president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak at the party office.
“The pride of minorities has increased since the day Congress came to power in the state. We need to campaign against the anti-people policies of the government. The nation is on the path of economic progress in spite of Covid-19. It will be a great financial power reaching the third spot in the world. It is being respected all over the world,” she said.
BJP state chief secretary and member of Vidhana Parishat, N Ravi Kumar said that the prime minister will be addressing a virtual meeting on June 23. “As per the call from BJP national president J P Nadda, key voters should be identified and visited, holding meetings of district morcha, social media team and senior activists to create conducive atmosphere for upcoming taluk panchayat, zilla panchayat and lok sabha elections,” he said.
BJP district president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak delivered the keynote address.
