Mangaluru: Indiana Hospital & Heart Institute distributes rain coats to city police

Mangaluru, Jul 6: Indiana Hospital and Heart Institute showcased a kind gesture towards the Mangaluru City Police by distributing raincoats at the hospital on Thursday, July 6.

During the event, symbolic raincoats were handed over to the police officers, with a total of 70 raincoats being provided to the cops of the city.

Dr Yusuf Kumble, the Managing Director, expressed his appreciation for the dedicated and thankless job performed by the police. He recognized them as the real heroes and protectors of society, emphasizing the importance of utilizing them in the right way, with the right approach. Indiana Hospital has always contributed to the Police Department in various ways, and this time they have chosen to distribute raincoats, which will assist the cops in carrying out their duties during the monsoon season.

ACP Mangaluru South, Dhanya Nayak, expressed gratitude for the kind gesture shown by Indiana Hospital and stated that it will be remembered for their thoughtful act.

Chairman Dr Ali Kumble, proposed the vote of thanks, while clinical dietician Saaksha M compered the event and welcomed the attendees.

SI Raghu Nayak from Mangaluru Town Police Station and Dr Prashanth Desai, CEO of Indiana Hospital and Heart Institute, were also present during the distribution.
