Panaji: Gomantak Maratha Samaj Distributes Scholarships

Panaji, Jul 27: Gomantak Maratha Samaj, Panaji distributed scholarships to deserving students of Sattari Taluka at a function held at the Forest Guest House, Valpoi here recently.

The programme was held in the presence of central committee secretary of Gomantak Maratha Samaj Gorakh Mandrekar, treasurer Rohidas Naik, and member Pradeep Palyekar.

The committee for Sattari Taluk Samiti was also formed on the occasion with Suhas Gajanan Naik as the president, Deepak Chandrakant Naik as the vice-president, Jayaram Naik as the secretary, Chandrakant Naik as the joint secretary, Viraj Malakarni as the treasurer and Sahadev Naik, Subhash Naik, Bhagyashri Naik and Laxman Krishna Naik as the members.

    im student im studying MSc microbiology in vit vellore on merit based,i have taken loan,my father dadasaib babar died on 2013,my mom alone cant maintain mine and my brothers education please help me

    I am working in BNP Paribas & my monthly income is Rs.25000.
    I have done my B.Com from N.M.College of commerce & Economics in 2006 with 76% & HSC with 72%. I have passed my 10th in 2001 with 80%.
    I have completed my distance MBA in 2015 with 58%. for which I got reimbursement from my company under continuing education policy.
    I am staying with my mother since I have lost my father in 2002 & now I am only earning member in my family. From last 5 years my mother got operated 4 times due to orthopedic problems.
    I have already taken loan under my sister's name (as the interest rate was low under society funding) for my mothers operation & I am repaying it.
    Looking at the current competitive world, I want to sharpen my abilities by doing advance courses in my own field.
    I wanted to pursue CAMS - Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) from ACAMS INSTITUTE for which I required approx. Rs. 125,000.
    As I am working in compliance department, this course will surely help me to develop my abilities.
    Kindly assist me in getting any scholarship or monetary help.
    I will be very thankful if you can provide your assistance in my aspiration.
