Mangaluru, Jul 14: Raj B Shetty’s Kannada film ‘Toby’ directed by Basil Alchalakkal has raised a lot of expectations among cine lovers since its announcement.

A two-minute video, ‘Madness of Toby’ was released on July 13 which shows the dedication of Raj for his character.

In the first look of Toby, Raj appears in an intense look with a nose ring and a scar on his face.

He was very clear about his character and set to pierce his nose for real. The wound was severe and Raj was on pain killer injection to shoot for the sequence.

The motion poster, first look of Raj in ‘Toby’ was trending on social media. He has been always known for his creative ideas and way of conveying the story onscreen.

Raj himself is the reason for the high expectations due to performance in his previous movies especially the hit ‘Garuda Gamana Vrishaba Vahana’.

Toby is produced by Ravi Rai Kalasa, Lighter Buddha Films, Coffee Gang Studios, and Balakrishna Arwankar. Apart from playing the lead role in Toby, Raj has penned down the story.

Toby will be released on August 25.
